• Matters concerning placement plans and class organization of children and students at each school
• Matters concerning the establishment of school districts for each class of school
• Matters concerning the development of appropriate-sized schools
• Matters concerning the designation of special sites
• Matters concerning consultation on development and implementation plans (securing school land)
• Matters concerning the establishment and abolition of schools (including kindergartens, special schools, and various schools) below or equivalent to public high school curricula
• Matters concerning the establishment and abolition of special night classes for the education of working youth and schools attached to industrial enterprises
• Matters concerning appropriation budget contracts, expenditures, and settlement
• Matters concerning the remittance of daily expenses
• Matters concerning the operation of the contract review committee and subcontract review committee
• Matters concerning the promotion and management of public procurement
• Matters concerning the receipt and storage of cash and securities other than tax revenues and appropriations
• Matters concerning the procurement of government-supplied materials
• Matters concerning the rational use of energy by public institutions
• Matters concerning salaries management
• Matters concerning the management of special account funds for education expenses
• Matters concerning the receipt and settlement of revenues from special account funds for education expenses
• Matters concerning the management of “education safe”
• Matters concerning the borrowing and repayment of local government bonds
• Matters concerning year-end tax adjustment
• Matters concerning the budgeting and settlement of public employee labor costs
• Matters concerning the operation of public employee pension and health insurance
• Matters concerning the management of shared property (including new school sites) and acquisition, disposition, and exchange of property

• Matters concerning supply and demand management and settlement

• Matters concerning the Korea Institute of Educational Facility Safety (application for cooperative membership and disaster recovery payment)
• Matters concerning free high school education (tuition)
• Matters concerning the establishment and management of basic plans for school transportation (including approval of vehicle quota)
